Have no fear. Biking is a great low impact alternative to running. Biking is a great way to get some exercise in and save some money on gas. Ten miles a day round trip will give you two good workouts in a single day.

It is a common misconception that exercising abs every day is a good idea. However, these particular muscles do not necessarily benefit from that. You need to rest your muscles every other day or every two days. Place two or three days between each abdominal workout.
If you’re making wise fitness decisions, you’ll give your exercise routine a rest when you get sick. If you are ill, your body has to use its energy to heal itself. In addition, your body is not really able to build muscles while you are sick. This means that you should stop exercising until you feel better. While you are waiting, you can eat, sleep, and build up your strength.
